People sometimes ask me if my photos like this are HDR photos, or photos with multiple combined exposures to get very light and very dark areas. The answer on this one is no. I actually added contrast to make the image less flat. This time of night is perfect for exposures, because it is still somewhat light outside and the street lights are on. 15 minutes later there would be less detail in the building because of the darkness.
